Children at Ecolint: La Grande Boissière Secondary & Campus des Nations Primary

I am a French national who has lived in Geneva since 2016. I am the mother of two children at Ecolint—one at a Primary school in Nations and the other at a secondary school at LGB.

I currently work for the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as an expert in humanitarian diplomacy. I have over 15 years of experience in leadership and management roles with the Red Cross, the United Nations, and international NGOSs in contexts such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Colombia, Somalia, Indonesia, Sudan, and the Middle East.

My strengths lie in navigating complex environments, managing crises, and driving strategic initiatives to make a meaningful impact. I am deeply committed to international education, diversity, and inclusion. I understand the complexities of multicultural environments and the importance of fostering a global mindset for education.

My family and I enjoy participating in Geneva's local life. We support the neighborhood activities in the Pâquis. We attend and support the weekly and monthly football tournaments of CSI, the local football club. We follow Geneva’s cultural scene, notably its dance performances, as my daughter pursues the pre-professional dance curriculum at the CMPDT.

What does Ecolint mean to you?

After coming from abroad and experiencing different educational systems, I was looking for a school that reflects the international exposure and diversity my kids had experienced while also being anchored locally.

Ecolint’s mission resonates deeply with our way of being and how we aspire to be active builders of our shared future. Its emphasis on critical thinking, empathy, and peace-building aligns with my values. In a world filled with challenges, fostering these principles in education is essential to shaping responsible, thoughtful, and happy global citizens.

Ecolint provides an environment where individuals are encouraged to be curious, explore different disciplines, and develop their unique personalities. It is a place where learning extends to the arts, sports, and innovation- showing that talent can flourish in multiple ways. This holistic approach to education mirrors the diversity of experiences I have encountered in my career and reinforces the idea that knowledge and creativity come from many sources. Ecolint’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and innovation ensures that students learn from one another, gain from embracing different perspectives, and prepare themselves for a world that requires collaboration across cultures and backgrounds.

Since my kids are at Ecolint, they have built rich relationships with students from diverse backgrounds and are growing up in an environment that respects their interests and personalities.

What skills/expertise would you bring to the Governing Board?

  • Governance
  • Fundraising
  • Financial management and oversight
  • Strong relationships with the local community
  • Strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion

How would you support the mission of the Foundation if you are elected to the Governing Board? Emphasizing the skills/expertise that were highlighted in the previous question, and other leadership and soft skills you would bring to the Board.

I would support the Foundation’s mission by leveraging my expertise in governance, strategic thinking, planning, fundraising, and organizational leadership.

With over 15 years of experience in humanitarian leadership, diplomacy, and field operations, I have worked extensively in governance structures, strategic planning, and policy development. I would bring this expertise to the Board, ensuring that decision-making aligns with Ecolint’s mission and long-term vision. My experience leading organizations through complex challenges has strengthened my ability to think strategically, anticipate risks, and drive meaningful change.

I also developed skills in fundraising, resource mobilization, and building strategic partnerships. I would support Ecolint’s financial sustainability by identifying opportunities for external funding, grants, and collaborations with key stakeholders, including international institutions, private donors, and alumni networks.

As a resident of the same Geneva neighborhood since 2016 and having lived abroad for many years, I embrace local relationships and understand the importance of local engagement. My experience working in multicultural environments across different continents has reinforced my belief in the power of diversity and inclusion. I would actively contribute to policies that promote equity, representation, and student well-being.

Having managed large-scale humanitarian operations, I am adept at coordinating diverse teams, leading complex projects, and ensuring effective organizational planning.

I would collaborate with the Board members and the broader school community to ensure Ecolint continues to thrive as a leading international school that prepares students to be critical thinkers and responsible global citizens.
