Summer Camps Administrative Assistant

Summer Camps Administrative Assistant 

Full-time: the role is 100% (40 hours per week) for up to 2 weeks in Spring, 5 weeks in July and 2 weeks in August (9 weeks work in total). Specific working times will depend on specific activities and availability of successful candidates.

These roles are part of the Foundation Camps programme 

Responsibilities:

  • Call and email management: 
  • Provide assistance to parents with registration, camps day-to-day and general information 
  • Oversee daily attendance records for each camp and coordinate changes to child pick-up/drop-off 
  • Coordinating with camps coordinators, admin team and staff in an ad hoc manner
  • Manage several task in the meantime 

Personal requirements:

  • ONLY FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS 
  •  Age 18 years minimum + experience working with children and young people, ideally in a school or holiday camp setting or equivalent 
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in order to respond to the huge demand of questions from parents 
  • Fluent English and French, both oral and written 
  • Good knowledge of ICT 
  • Well organized, able to work under pressure and tactful 
  • Recognized qualifications in administrative fields, schools and/or pedagogy are an asset, though not necessarily required. 
  • Holder of a valid work permit 

     Other relevant information: 
    - We don’t provide accommodation
    - Job-holder can enroll his or her children in the Summer Camp programme free of charge (when they are working on site) if relevant.
