SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - BILLING MANAGER

Full-time - 40 hours per week.

 

Reporting to the Foundation's Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant has the following objectives and responsibilities:

 

Job purpose:

  • Ensure the management and control of the entire invoicing process for the Foundation's customers by ensuring its reconciliation and guaranteeing the accuracy and consistency of the data.
  • Identify, propose and implement continuous improvements to the systems and various processes in place.
  • Provide active support to colleagues in the customer accounting (invoicing), general accounting and accounts payable departments, ensuring that communication and cooperation between these three areas are strengthened for better synergy and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

Invoicing (approximately 70%)

  • Manage, supervise and control the invoicing process in accordance with the Foundation's Financial Conditions for all eligible services.
  • Develop and communicate the billing schedule, including updating financial conditions.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the various stakeholders related to students (Admissions, parents, companies, missions, HR, etc.) in order to better adapt to the needs of the main internal and external stakeholders, while contributing to the optimization and automation of financial processes and management tools
  • Maintain and continuously manage the database of students and respondents, as well as the various financial management platforms (BEE, Paynet, e-Bills, Postfinance, etc.), in order to ensure accurate billing and rigorous monitoring.
  • Database management and billing of employees' children.
  • Preparation, implementation and management of the re-registration period
  • Ensure optimal service to parents and businesses by ensuring the smooth operation of the debtors' team, while ensuring a quick and efficient response to requests from internal and external customers (processing of questions and emails within 24 hours), and by working closely with the Head of Department and the Director of Finance to optimize processes and financial management
  • Assist Campus Partners Finance or the Director of Finance and Administration according to their needs

 

General accounting (approximately 30%)

  • Proceed with the reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger, and others
  • Ensure the updating of employee databases, as well as the validation of reimbursements.
  • Prepare various payment lists from our ERP until their entry into the bank, ensure their follow-up and ensure the accounting of entries.
  • Provide one-off or regular support during busy periods.

 

Personal requirements:

  • Higher education degree in accounting, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting in a similar position.
  • Able to work independently, proactively and dynamically.
  • Good teamwork, active listening and methodical and structured proposal.
  • Able to work in a multicultural and demanding environment and ability to learn quickly and evolve on different systems.
  • Ability to summarize and analyze
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Comfortable with computer systems.
