Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. La Grande Boissière (LGB) campus is centrally located in Geneva and blends a mix of 18th Century buildings with cutting edge STEM and Arts facilities. The bilingual (French and English) campus is home to close to 1,900 students across the Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools. Our unique Universal Learning Programme, co-designed with UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, seeks to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and the assessment of Ecolint’s global competences, to ensure that the outcome of learning makes some positive social impact.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Part-time - 50-60% position – 28 hours - 40 weeks

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage teacher absences and replacements.
  • Provide administrative support for academic coordination and curriculum-related tasks.
  • Assist with the organization and distribution of student resources and publications.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of specific school projects.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating student records, timetables, and academic reports.
  • Support various operational and logistical aspects of school administration.
  • Assist and support students’ needs.
  • Manage correspondence.
     

Personal requirements:

  • Higher/Technical Education Diploma required.
  • Experience in administrative support, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French proficiency is an asset.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and international environment.
  • Highly reliable, with strong team spirit.
