Children at Ecolint: Campus des Nations Secondary
I am a graduate of The University of the West of England Bristol Business School. I co-founded several companies and have supported a management buyout, trade sale and a private equity sale. I've lived in Geneva for over 20 years and have two sons who attend/ed Campus des Nations from Pre-Reception to Y13/Y10 (current) one of whom graduated with 44 points. I hold Swiss and British nationality.
What does Ecolint mean to you?
Ecolint has been my partner in educating my children for 26 child / years. This partnership is probably the most profound non-family relationship in the process and therefore deserves all our support.
What skills/expertise would you bring to the Governing Board?
- Governance
- Fundraising
- Financial management and oversight
- Sustainability
How would you support the mission of the Foundation if you are elected to the Governing Board? Emphasizing the skills/expertise that were highlighted in the previous question, and other leadership and soft skills you would bring to the Board.
Coming from a very different but complementary professional background to education, combined with a long overview of the school's development, I feel privileged to be able to see the bigger picture whilst offering commercial sector governance, financial and fundraising skills. I have natural skills in strategic planning and delivery and being measured closely by shareholders. I am also familiar with the Swiss code of Obligations with direct experience in Geneva.
