Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. La Châtaigneraie
TEACHER OF JUNIOR MAKER SPACE
Part-time – 1.5 hours per week on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 14:30.
Description of the course:
- Design, build and experiment with computer technologies and electronics kits. Use a variety of computer programs, explore computer coding and simple circuits. Create, share and have fun tinkering with technology!
- Students will be using mbot2 or Wedo 2.0.
Responsibilities:
- Coach primary students
Personal requirements:
- Qualified teacher who is capable of enthusing our students
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and prepare weekly lesson
- Solid experience in scratching, coding, robotics (incl mbot2, Wedo 2.0 and other)
- Several years of experience in teaching primary students, ideally worked in the past with other schools
- Positive, enthusiastic, respectful and communicative attitude
- Ability to relate well to children
- Valid work permit or Swiss citizen
- Fluent in English and/or French with knowledge of the other language
