Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. The Campus de La Grande Boissière (LGB) is located in the centre of Geneva and combines 18th century buildings with cutting-edge STEM and artistic installations. This bilingual campus (French and English) welcomes nearly 1,900 students in elementary, middle and secondary schools. Our unique Universal Learning Programme, designed in collaboration with UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, aims to anchor learning in a deep conceptual understanding and assessment of the Ecolint’s global competencies, to ensure that the learning outcome has a positive social impact.
La Grande Boissière (Primary)
Teacher of French
Part-time – 14 to 19 Periods
Responsibilities of the successful candidate:
- Teach French as a foreign language to students aged 3 to 10.
- Develop creative, challenging and innovative teaching in a caring and trusting environment.
- Ensure good monitoring of student progress and exchanges with parents.
- Collaborate with other language teachers, classroom teachers and specialist teachers during pedagogical meetings or at any time.
- Participate in regular classroom training.
Personal Requirements:
- Have a recognized primary school education diploma
- Have a degree in teaching French as a foreign language and/or have successful experience teaching French as a foreign language (minimum 3 years)
- Be able to differentiate your teaching according to the level of the groups that will be entrusted to you (from beginner to advanced)
- Have a good knowledge of English (B2). Knowledge of another language will be a plus.
